Mike Schout’s passion is creating unique communities that help people live better and more enjoyable lives by focusing on lifestyle, quality homes and natural environments with extraordinary greenspace.

Following a decade of research - studying the needs, wants, and preferences of residents of other active adult communities in Canada and USA, he and his partners are proud to present Stonecroft, an adult lifestyle community that exceeds the expectations of its residents.

The fabric of the community is the social life.  As one new resident said, “If you want to make friends, all you have to do is go to the recreation centre.  In no time you’ll be invited for coffee.”  Another resident mentioned that the phone used to ring continuously for their teenage kids.  Since moving to Stonecroft, the phone still rings continuously – but for them!

The 46 {and growing} committees and clubs plus ad hoc travel groups and the ever present walking groups on the 5 km of trails within the community which are all organized and run by the residents are proof that Stonecroft is another successful community developed by Mike and his team.
